About Me
I am an enterprising, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious corporate strategist. In college, I competed in startup pitch competitions, wrote a senior thesis, joined an improv troupe, and co-founded a for-profit management consulting group within the University of Oregon's business school.
After college, I became 1 of 6 employees at a tech start-up called Nulia. I helped put together the business plan for their successful $2M seed raise and still advise them from time to time.
After working on Nulia's capital raise, I decided to focus my energy on gaining corporate strategy/investment banking experience. I wanted to work directly with C-suite executives and learn how to launch successful products and build sustainable business models.
I joined Alternative Ownership Advisors, a management consultancy where I partnered closely with the Head of Finance, Capital Strategy Advisor and Managing Director to deliver strategic planning services and financial modeling services to mission-driven businesses of all sizes. At AOA, I helped owners understand whether a recapitalization of their business is feasible in order to facilitate a transition to Trust-ownership (like what Patagonia did).
I then worked with a traditional boutique investment bank, Meridian Capital (formerly Orca Capital), where I worked on all aspects of sell-side M&A deals including financial analysis, management presentation and CIM development, and due diligence process management.
Now, I am a strategic advisor to On Your Feet, a creative agency/management consultancy and am working in strategy & finance.
I like to code.
I coded and designed this website (from a template) using HTML/CSS and have learned the basics of HTML/CSS, Python and SQL. I continue to develop my coding skillset, and am currently focused on Python.
You can check out my (rarely updated) Github here and another website I built here.
